111 PIECES OF INDIANA LIMESTONE WITH STEEL ORNAMENTATION
Commissioned as a memorial honoring wounded soldiers who have received the Purple Heart, this 45-foot monument was conceived, designed and sculpted by Cary Shafer. Constructed from 111 pieces of Indiana limestone, the monument combines carved stone with custom steel ornamentation.
